Wedding Makeup Tips - Four Things Not to Miss

You big day has finally arrived. All your preparations are coming into place. You have nothing else to worry about, except yourself. Your last concern is how you look on your day. You want your makeup artist or yourself, to make you look fabulous for pictures. You need your makeup to stay on all day. You want your complexion to look flawless. You don't want to look overdone. Makeup is a necessity, even if you don't usually wear it. Use these three tips to make your wedding day makeup look amazing!

Begin by using a foundation primer. Primers create a smooth surface for your foundation, filling in pores and fine lines. They make your foundation stay on longer and make them look seamless on your skin. I believe, as a freelance makeup artist myself, a primer should be the first step to your makeup routine.

Some highly recommended foundation primers are: Smashbox Photo Finish primer, which is known for it's silicone based primer, making it feel smooth and velvety on the skin. It has been written about in many magazines, including Allure.'Bold text' Also, Laura Mercier's primer known for being a lighter, but still an equally effective primer. It glides on softly, feels soft and smooth. MAC's Prep and Prime is good for troublesome skin. It still does it's job as a primer, but also helps reduce redness and oil.

The next step after a primer is foundation. You need to pick a foundation that works for your skin type. So whether your skin is dry, oily, or combination, you need to match you skin color and pick a foundation that fits you. I recommend Makeup Forever and Smashbox which are both made for photos and TV.

After your foundation comes concealer. I love concealer, because it hides all my flaws and dark circles. Me personally, I need concealer. I'm sure you will on your wedding day too, to hide all that stress you have been feeling for months and months. My favorite is Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage. It comes in two shades so you can blend and find the perfect match for your skin. I also like Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer. It's thick enough to cover, but not too thick to crease and make you looked wrinkled. Last I think that Prescriptives Camouflage Cream works magic under the eyes.

Now you have a perfect canvas and to make it stay, you just need a finishing powder. This is the final step. This will keep everything in place and extend the wear of your makeup. Following all these steps will keep you looking fab on your wedding day and look amazing in your pictures. Here you can get all you beauty needs [1].
