When CKEditor is placed inside an HTML form, you can use the button to submit the data to the server. By default the Save button is inactive; it becomes active when CKEditor is embedded into a form.
Note, though, that since this is a particular use case, some system administrators might reprogram this button to perform another function, like saving the data in the database with Ajax.
