CKFinder is a plugin-based application and as such it can be extended relatively easily.
Enabling JavaScript Plugins
To add a plugin to CKFinder, upload it to the plugins
folder and enable it by using the extraPlugins
configuration option in the config.js
file:
CKFinder.customConfig = function( config ) { config.extraPlugins = 'dummy'; };
Enabling ASP.NET Plugins
Step1: Create a reference to .dll file
To add a plugin to CKFinder, create a reference to .dll with a plugin (for example: CKFinder_ImageResize.dll) in your project:
- manually copy .dll with a plugin (it's in the "ckfinder/plugins/pluginname/bin/Release" directory) to the "bin" directory of your web site
- or in your Visual Studio.NET project: right-click "References" in the "Solution Explorer", use "Browse" to select dll file from the directory you have saved it in.
Step2: Enable plugin in config.ascx
Enable plugin in the configuration file (config.ascx):
Plugins = new string[] { "CKFinder.Plugins.ImageResize, CKFinder_ImageResize" };
